Worship lies at the heart of our Christian life together. Our worship draws on a number of different traditions. We value sounds and silence, words and action, the old and the new, the formal and the informal. Visitors can expect a warm welcome at any and all of our services.

10.00 am (first Sunday of the month) All Age Communion  A family-friendly service with hymns and songs led by our choir, organ, and worship group, and a talk with something for everyone. Children and adults stay together in church together for the whole service. The perfect introduction if you're new to church.

10.00 am Parish Communion (other Sundays)  Our main Sunday service with choir and organ, with hymns traditional and modern. We sing many parts of the service together. Children come in for the first part of the service, then leave to enjoy Children's Church, before returning in time to join the adult congregation for communion or a blessing. Following the service there is tea and coffee, and often cake, in the church hall.

Sunday evenings at 6.30 pm:

First Sunday of the month: Choral Evensong  Our choir leads us in a sung service from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, with hymns, an anthem, and sometimes a sermon.

Second Sunday: Evensong  A simpler service of Evensong with hymns.

Third Sunday (usually): Refresh  A monthly service of alternative worship, offering something different each time. An opportunity to refresh and revive the soul.

Fourth and fifth Sundays: Evening Prayer  A simple, said service from the 1662 Prayer Book, held in the Lady Chapel.

Tuesday to Friday: 8.30 am Morning Prayer; 4.45 pm Evening Prayer  Short services of prayers and readings, at which we pray daily for our parish and community, and for the wider world. Please note: occasionally Morning or Evening Prayer may need to be cancelled at short notice.

Wednesday at 9.30 am: Holy Communion  A quiet, prayerful service with a homily or short sermon, and coffee afterwards.

Wednesday at 3.15 pm during term time: Trinity Lighthouse (at Holy Trinity Primary School)  Trinity Lighthouse is our after-school church, meeting in the beautiful Apse space at Holy Trinity Primary School. Every week there are songs, snacks, prayers, and crafts, and a time to listen to what God is saying to us. Children can sign up for it like an after school club - but parents/carers can come along to join the fun too if they wish!

Thursdays during term time at 10.00 am Tiddlers Prayer and Praise  Part of our Tiddlers toddler group in the Church Hall (see Church Organisations page for more details). A short time of singing, stories, and fun for toddlers and parents/carers.

Thursdays at 7.00 pm on the second Thursday of the month: Healing Eucharist  A quiet, restful service of Holy Communion with the opportunity to seek laying-on of hands and annointing with oil for yourself or anyone else you wish to pray for.
